The Boston Pops, long known as "America's Orchestra," has commissioned several Intellimmercials from AMN New Media and Eyetopia Design. After the success of the initial Boston Symphony Orchestra Intellimmercials in 2001, it was only natural that BSO.org would expand this remarkable marketing product to its associated organizations, the Boston Pops and Tanglewood. The first Boston Pops Intellimmercial went online in March 2002, and resulted in selling 1,500 tickets for dates that hadn't sold out. Since then, the BSO organization, including the Boston Pops, has relied on the Intellimmercial to promote specific concerts or events, promotional items, and fund-raising.
